Maximizing the use of Proclaim

We are running Sunday Worship on several monitors - all have the same display. From my computer I would like to be able to make changes to some slides during service, so we need to have presenter up all the time and go to any slide to make changes without affecting the program that is running.

Any ideas?

That should work just fine. You can select Edit from the top menu while you are On Air and make necessary changes.

As long as you are not editing the currently-displayed slide edits shouldn't be visible to the congregation.

My name is Pastor Oliver W. Wells of Christ The King Church in Melbourne. We running Proclaim on a brand new MacBook Pro. OS X version 10.7.3.

On yesterday, we were not able to separate the "Presenter" slide from the Proclaim "edit" slide. I've been using macs for years and understand that the normal "Presenter" screen is "drag-able" to what would be the second monitor screen. However, we were not able to separate the two. Why was that? What were we doing that would not allow the edit screen to be seen on the MacBook Pro's monitor screen and the "presenter" screen to be seen on "unseen monitor" screen?

I need to get an answer to this ASAP.

I am not sure why you would have trouble moving the Presenter window. Try following these steps:

Also, if the Presenter window becomes hidden, simply select the Window menu from the Menu bar and select Proclaim Presenter.

OPERATOR ERROR! I just figured out that we needed to go into the Display portion of the Mac's System Preferences to change the displays from single to dual!!! Got it!
