Can Hindi (Indian Language) Font be Installed

Hi!

Just wondering if the Indian - Language Font - HINDI . similar to what is on GMAIL be installed on Proclaim. We are a small church in India and are trying out Proclaim Church Software.

We have been using EasySlides and have been able to install on that.

So are wondering if this is possible

I regret that Proclaim does not presently support user-installed fonts. Fonts are tricky because we want to ensure the slides look exactly the same whether you are using Proclaim from a Mac, PC, Android or iOS device. If you cannot find the glyphs you need in one of the fonts that are shipped with Proclaim, then your options are pretty limited. Please consider filing a UserVoice suggestion with the name of a font that would be useful to you. A font that is not copyright-encumbered will be much simpler to add.

In the meantime, an ugly work-around would be to generate the slides in another software package, export them as image files, and upload them to Proclaim in that way.

Thank you so much for your response to this.

You know what ; I just did a cut Copy Paste of the Transliterated Hindi from Gmail pasting in right into the song Text field and it seems to work fine.

I have no clue about how thing worked out but it does. It is amazing to see proclaim working with the Hindi language as well. I am sure that there would be certain limitations and i might hit a road block sooner or later. But atleast for now it works.

We hope to move to proclaim after a couple of weeks of testing this out.

The only limitation being Internet connectivity for us since its not always stable.

But from the little that we have used proclaim is just amazing.
