vyrso on strike - help!

I've tried and just got a spinning pizza. Do I need to be online to do that? Running commentary - stats have come up. Vyrso is 2.4 G, Logos 3.3.
I wonder if I have an iOS problem, as Kindle app was also being unhelpful about opening books to the place at which I'd left them? Anyway, for the moment vyrso is still working, apart from not producing logs or connecting to the forums.
Wonder how much Apple would charge me for the sort of painstaking personalised help you are giving for free? You'll get your reward in Heaven, as well as maybe the satisfaction of helping needy strugglers now?

You got a spinning pizza looking for your usage? If it was more than a few seconds, you have an iPad problem! [:S] To answer your question, no, you don't have to be online. Not at all.

I don't know… but do you have AppleCare or some other warranty? I would look into it. If you feel adventurous, you could try wiping the iPad clean. I don't have instructions… when I did it I just googled it. Of course, you will lose everything on your device.

I think I'd sooner stick with my iPad problem, unless it makes more than vyrso (sometimes) unusable offline. Wonder if the next iOS update might help? Vyrso is still working. I'll just try to take it into church when I go into town and give it its online fix - I want to download the latest vyrso freebies anyway fairly often. Just off to Germany where I think my friends' access, if any (they're mostly my generation, pre-computer dinosaurs!) tends to be cable, which doesn't help my iPad. Tho I have plenty of reading matter on it to keep me happy. I have a dongle I can charge up if I feel deprived, which also doesn't help with iPad. And I should have a second hand iPhone waiting for me at my first port of call. I'll have to find an internet cafe to get that set up! Hope I don't then need to bother you for further advice. I've downloaded some tipos and tricks for iPhone apps, which I hope will help me. I look forward to having handy reading matter etc on my Handy, as Germans call mobile phones! Shall be sending maps to Evernote, which I've just started using.
