How many books by D.A. Carson do qualify for the sale?

Knowing that books published by Baker are excluded from this campaign, just like multi-authored titles (although Logos has not always been consistent with this one), how many books by Carson are there left that we could possibly get with the discount?

How do you know D.A. Carsons books published by Baker are excluded?

Wow, if Baker books are excluded, then there's not much left. Presuming they do exclude multi-authored titles, I count only 4 that he is the sole author of:
- The Difficult Doctrine of the Love of God
- For the Love of God, Volume One (not sold as stand-alone, part of the D. A. Carson "Love of God" Collection)
- For the Love of God, Volume Two (not sold as stand-alone, part of the D. A. Carson "Love of God" Collection)
- The Pillar New Testament Commentary: The Gospel According to John
There is also this one, but it's still in pre-pub and it's part of a larger collection so I'm sure it doesn't count for the sale:
Others where he is one of several authors:
- Holy, Holy, Holy: Proclaiming the Perfections of God (not sold alone anyway, only as part of Reformation Trust Collection)
- Introducing the New Testament: A Short Guide to Its History and Message
- An Introduction to the New Testament
Others where he is one of several editors of a multi-author work:
- Biblical Greek Language and Linguistics: Open Questions in Current Research
- Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament
- Discourse Analysis and Other Topics in Biblical Greek
- Linguistics and the New Testament: Critical Junctures
- New Dictionary of Biblical Theology (not sold as stand-alone anyway, only as part of The Essential IVP Reference Collection Version 3)
One where he is mistakenly listed (on the website and in the software metadata) as the sole author, but he's really one of 4 editors of a multi-author work:
Does anybody know whether the March Madness coupons are valid on Vyrso.com? If they are, then there would be two more D.A. Carson books available in the sale (the others on Vyrso that he's the sole author of are published by Baker so they wouldn't be eligible).
- Memoirs of an Ordinary Pastor: The Life and Reflections of Tom Carson
- Scandalous: The Cross and Resurrection of Jesus
Then there are all the Gospel Coalition tracts (which he's co-author of), but they're under $1.50 each anyway so big whoop if they go on 75% off sale.
And there are a few others on Vyrso which he's co-author of:
- Sunsets: Reflections for Life's Final Journey
- Collected Writings on Scripture
- The Pastor as Scholar and the Scholar as Pastor: Reflections on Life and Ministry
- Only One Way? Reaffirming the Exclusive Truth Claims of Christianity
- Reclaiming the Center: Confronting Evangelical Accommodation in Postmodern Times
- Don't Call It a Comeback
- Preach the Word: Essays on Expository Preaching
I don't have time to do the same run-through for N.T Wright, but right off the bat you've got the N. T. Wright Collection (34 volumes, all available individually, all of which he is solo author of, all published by publishers other than Baker) and the Christian Origins and the Question of God Series (3 volumes, all available individually, published by SPCK)
Do a search on Logos.com for author:"wright, n.t." for a full listing.
I think the smartest choice is to vote for N.T. Wright.

Maybe it was only anecdotal evidence. I couldn't find anything definitive about this from Logos. Just one user speculating:
"I was more disappointed in the non-participation by some publishers in March Madness than the cost of individual volumes, it would appear that neither Eerdmans nor Baker titles are included, given that Moo's Pillar volume on Colossians and Philemon and Bock's Luke commentary in the BECNT are not discounted."
André, do you know something more than that?
If the Baker books are included, then there are 7 more possible ones for the sale:
- Basics for Believers: An Exposition of Philippians
- A Call to Spiritual Reformation: Priorities from Paul and His Prayers
- Exegetical Fallacies, Second Edition
- How Long, O Lord? Reflections on Suffering and Evil
- New Testament Commentary Survey, Fifth Edition
- Scripture and Truth
- Showing the Spirit: A Theological Exposition of 1 Corinthians 12-14
Still, not as many as N.T. Wright, even if you include all the ones co-authored with others, all the ones he was merely one of several editors of for a multi-author work, and all the ones on Vyrso.

Hi Patrick! Well, it's not stated explicitly anywhere in the Sales details, but in this sale we have seen titles from many publishers, but not even one by Baker (unless I miss something). Hence my conclusion that Baker House probably didn't allow their titles be part of this campaign.

Another interesting comparison.
Highest priced three D. A. Carson books (for which the 75% discount will really make the most difference);
Pillar New Testament Commentary: The Gospel according to John, $46.00
Scripture and Truth, $36.00
How Long, O Lord? Reflections on Suffering and Evil, $22.99
Highest priced three N. T. Wright books:
Jesus and the Victory of God, $41.00
The Resurrection of the Son of God, $40.00
The New Testament and the People of God, $38.00
Those three make up his acclaimed Christian Origins and the Question of God Series (which even the N. T. Wright naysayers admit is pretty good and really quite orthodox), normally $99.95. If you picked up all three of these at 75% off (I doubt the bundle would be 75% off) it would instead cost $89.25. Not all that exciting, really. You might be better off talking to Sales and seeing if they'd give you a 10% discount off the bundle price.

It seems obvious to me, regardless of whether you like Carson or Wright better, that there will be more offered to the consumer by voting for Wright.
The Origins of God series is worth having at 75% off each individual volume.

I haven't seen anything to suggest this. It would be great though.

Speaking as the quoted speculator [:D] I would have to say that I was wrong about Eerdmans but to the best of my knowledge there has not been a single Baker title included in the promotion.
For the latest piece of evidence I present Exposition of Ephesians by Lloyd-Jones - published by Baker and excluded from the sale.

Hi Rosie, I think there is a little mistake. We are talking about 75% OFF, isn't it? So the discount is $89.25! So the three together would cost ($119 - $89.25) $29.75
I would call that very exciting!

The Carson quote they have on the March Madness page is from An Introduction to the New Testament co-authored with Douglas Moo. I wonder what they chose it. It seems like quite a strange thing to use to typify his work.
Luke writes to encourage Christians in his day to endure the pressures
of living as believers in an indefinitely continuing world order. He
thus tries to establish a role for the church. The only thing I'm interested in is Exegetical Fallacies so if Baker titles are out this final showdown doesn't matter to me in the least.

Yes, occasionally.
