Formatting Slides

Hello

We are trying to switch to this product from SongShow Plus. So far we really like it. One of our main concerns is the alignment of the lyrics. We have a low ceiling and chairs that go far back (we need a new building!) and thus we have to align the lyrics as far up the slide as possible to enhance visibility. In SSP we can hit send text to top. Is there a similar method in Proclaim? I can drag the box manually but it only goes so far up. Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Welcome to the forums!

You should be able to position the text box anywhere you want it on the slide:

In your song slide, hit the "Customize" tab:

 

In the customize screen, you can move the boxes around and resize them, positioning your text anywhere you want it on the slide and limiting it to a specific region:

You may also want to change the text layout to align at the top of the box:

Then click "Done."

Result:

 

Please let me know if this isn't giving you what you want.

By the way: you don't have to do this for every song. Do it for one, duplicate that slide (right-click in the order of service or just select it from the recent slides list under "Add Item"), then change the title/lyrics.
