Help! Trying to find my books.

Hi,

 

I have deleted some resoures in an attempt to get rid of some locked resources. The idea was to allow Logos to load faster. Some how I went beyond the locked resources and deleted some unlocks. I have recovered most by the update scripts, but have two that i can not ID at this point.

My Account Summary shows:

What cd or download do I need to recover these books?

Also how do I delete references to the 30f Beta?

Under your "Other category" I don't think that those are resource names. I suspect that they are your unlock codes (which you probably don't want floating all over the internet.  You might try calling Tech Support in the morning unless someone here has the answer.  I DO know that if you can come up with the resource names (instead of unlock codes) you can download the resources off of the FTP site.

The Id applies to Help files and PBB resources (maybe addins) and I have the same ones listed! Elsewhere, I notice they had expired during beta testing. So they could be files that have been superseded or files for which you still have a licence (incl.a beta licence). They don't necessarily relate to your pruning actions! In my case one could be Graeca/Hebraica Converter, another possibility is Nelson's Ultimate Home Page. Either way I'm not worried about it! But I hope Logos improve this listing for v4.

You can't. The only way to avoid that in future is backup your licence before beta testing (or getting a beta licence) and reload it after testing.

Getting rid of a few resources won't make much of a difference as Logos always looks for changes to a resource folder when loading (and then it may perform an action like Discovery) i.e. no changes, no action. You should perform Refresh Resources from the Options menu as this will update the cache where resource information is stored.
