Hi Willie: You do not need another activation code for your laptop, you can use the same license as you have for the desktop pc.
Launch the software on your desktop pc, go to Tools, Library Management, Backup Licenses and save a copy of the licenses file to a location you can remember on your PC. Then make a copy of that licenses file on a flash drive or other means you have that BOTH computers can read. Then you move the file to your laptop, launch the software on your laptop and go to Tools, Library Management, Restore Licenses. That should get both computers synchronized EXCEPT for your book files. Put each CD with book resouce files into your laptop CD drive in sequence, let the software Discover the files you have licensed and copy them to your laptop hard drive. That should get you operational on your laptop. While you are at it, go to Tools, Library Management, Synchronize Licenses. That puts a copy of your licenses on the Logos Server so if you ever lose your backup file with your licenses you can restore your licenses from "the cloud". (Also makes life a lot easier if you decide to move to Logs 4 some time in the future).

Welcome [:D]
May want to edit post to remove email (unless have desire for more SPAM email); wiki Using the Forums has => Editing or deleting posts

Also can copy resource files from one computer to another; "Resources" folder is inside "Libronix DLS" folder, which is typically inside Program Files.
Another option is downloading Libronix resources; wiki has => Re-install resources for Libronix 3
