Groups - open vs closed - licenses
I recently asked what needed to be done to get my group changed from its default status of open to moderated, and was told that buying an OnAir license would make that automagically happen.
NOT TRUE!
They only way I was able to do so was to call tech support and press the issue. Same goes for changing them back to open if you ever wish to do so. If you haven't figured it out yet, open groups can be joined by anyone, who can then change your stuff behind your back in any way they choose. Why this would be the default is entirely beyond me.
Speaking of OnAir licenses, if you are a member of more that one group, be absolutely sure what group you are in when you click the link to go buy one. They will NOT ask you what group you want the license assigned to. They will assign it automatically to whatever group you were last looking at, even if you are not an administrator for that group!!!
Sure would be nice if this information was clearly posted somewhere other than a message like this that will quickly be lost in the shuffle.

We will be looking into why your group status did not automatically change to moderated.
