Information Pane - Display main Hebrew word first, not the definite article / preposition
When using the "Information" Tool to look up words in Hebrew from the Old Testament, the info pane displays definitions of words you click on or hover over (depending on the setting).
It is extremely common in Hebrew that the definite article or other prepositions will be attached to the beginning of a word. In these cases, the Info Pane displays first the definition of the definite article / preposition, and then the definition of the main word. Usually this takes up the entire Info pane, meaning you need to scroll down to see the definition of the word you are interested in.
Please change this behavior so that only the definition of the main word is shown. Or at least please show the main word definition first.
Logos is already capable of distinguishing between the main word and the auxiliary words. For example, if I double click on a word that has an article or preposition attached to it, Logos will always correctly look up the main word in my preferred dictionary, not the definite article or preposition. So, hopefully this change should be easy to implement.

Good point regarding the info panel. Earlier threads also expressed frustration with the right click menu (lemmas) where clicking on the article (and a lengthy lookup) is the rule if you're not constantly watching. I know they probably have good reasons why to include but it sure creates headaches.

Similar situation occurs in Greek => never default to the article.

Personally wish for information setting option to skip (or collapse) item(s) for definition information (e.g. definite articles).

There's also been threads about the parsing at the bottom of the screen, where the prefixes sometimes take up so much space that there's not enough left for the main word.
All these things should be fixed. Frankly, I can't understand how they designed it like this in the first place. How can you possibly use these features and not be frustrated at getting all that info on the prefixes all the time?

I would like to see a gloss on the Hebrew parsing too. NA27 and LXX both have a gloss, but Logos has never given us one for BHS.
Additionally, though this should be on another thread, I'd like to see words shaded across languages when the curser hovers over them. Logos offers this in the Exegetical guide, but I'd like to see it in regular resource panels, when two or more tagged Biblical texts are open. For instance, if I hover over a Hebrew word, I'd like to see the English word in an open English tagged Bible be shaded.

That's not the kind of gloss he's talking about. He's talking about the English translation that should be at the end of the parsing at the bottom of the screen, like it is in Greek. As in English gloss for Hebrew Bible.
(Or at least I assume that's what he's talking about, and I know it's what I gave a thumbs up to.)
(And R4m, do you seriously think that after nearly 2,500 posts I need you to tell me how to search for a thread if I want to find it?)

If you get the Stuttgart upgrade package it adds the definition gloss in both English and German when hovering with the mouse.
Unfortunately it's kind of expensive... it would certainly be nice if it were present OOTB with the base packages that include a BHS.

[Y] Since it's beginning to seem like all the other modern original texts that has parsing also has the gloss, you'd certainly expect it to be there in BHS as well. Especially now that you tell me that the work behind has actually already been done. I assumed the problem was that it hadn't yet been done.

Just a note about this - it turns out that double clicking on a word with a prefix in BHS works properly, opening the main word in your highest ranked dictionary. However, in AFAT, the article / preposition / conjunction is opened! What a surprise....
In both BHS and AFAT the info pane displays the article / preposition / conjunction first.
