BUG: Cannot Upload Video Files Greater Than 10MB

Ever since the addition of files uploading in the background, I have not been able to upload files greater than 10mb in size. I have tried uploading these videos in every way possible: through adding content item, video item, and uploading files from the account tab. Each time when I click ADD to upload the video, the screen goes to PREPARING TO UPLOAD and sits for an indefinite amount of time. It looks like it is working because the gears graphic is rotating, but it will never drop down to the bottom of the screen to begin uploading. I've tried uploading one file of 25mb overnight, but it was still PREPARING TO UPLOAD in the morning. Other video files of 10mb or less will go from PREPARING TO UPLOAD to begin uploading at the bottom of the screen in a matter of seconds, but not anything more than that. It's like it freezes at this moment. I've tried several different videos of varying sizes but to no avail. This problem did not occur until after the new proclaim update with uploading in the background. Please help!

Daniel,
Thanks for the logs. We'll be looking into this ASAP.
At 10 or 25Mb per file, you are well within our 200Mb per file limit.
In the meantime, a workaround that may help you out is to use the videos as local files. This will require you to manually transport them to your presentation machine and point Proclaim to them there.

Daniel,
Thanks for your patience. I was able to reproduce the symptoms you had. A fix for that should be coming out this week.
The problem I found turned out to be related to the file type rather than to the file size. Would it happen to be the case that the files you tried which were under 10mb and uploaded successfully were of a different type than those that failed? (Type is often illustrated by the file name extension: mp4, mpg, mov, wmv, etc.)
Watch for the update and please do let me know if it doesn't fix this bug for you.

Hey Todd,
I updated to Proclaim Verse 1.5 Mac. I tested it by uploading several videos, but to no avail. They all went to the Preparing to Upload screen and stayed there. No videos actually started to upload. I checked the file types and all of the videos that I upload are .mp4. All of the videos work fine on my computer as well. I also tried to add the videos through Local File instead of uploading, but it sent me to the Preparing to Upload again which I though was odd since it should be using the local file not uploading. Needless to say, it is not fixed yet on my end.
I hope this new information helps.
Dan

I am not sure why, I have been trying to upload a video for the last 3 versions and it continues to fail. http://www.ted.com/talks/simon_sinek_how_great_leaders_inspire_action.html
under the video is a download button, I download the Hi Res, with a 126mb file on a MBP running 10.6.8 Any help would be appreciated... It does show that it is uploading and then just disappears after awhile, and I don't see the video in my content...

I realized, after reading something Daniel posted, that my videos do in fact upload, they just don't show up in the Videos tab, but rather in the "Backgrounds" tab of Content or Songs etc... I figure this is just a bug in not being able to separate a video from a motion background or something? I look forward to a fix to this.

Yes, that is the case. Videos uploaded as Motion backgrounds do not appear as Videos for Video items.
Our developers are aware of the issue and are looking into a fix.
Thanks,
