whats the easiest way to do this? i was thinkin copying and pasting using the content option, but that could be time consuming.
Proclaim does not have a direct way to import Keynote files at this time (though it is a planned feature).
Does Keynote export to any other formats?
If you can export your Keynote files to txt documents, or PowerPoint files then Proclaim can import them more easily.
Thanks,
Ok, so then how I do import a power point presentation?
This feature is not available quite yet. It will be coming very soon.
Ok, well what we did, was export the keynote presentation as a image file and then used the SLIDESHOW option to import those image files from Keynote. Worked great!
It's kind of a shame to have to do all these workarounds ... importing keynote ought to be a priority!
Hi John
As I understand it there are a number of limitations when Powerpoint (other presentation software is available) presentations are imported to Proclaim.
I find it far more convenient to keep my presentations in Keynote and utilise 'spaces'.
I set up my Keynote presentation in a separate space with the opening slide showing on the monitor.
Flick back to the space with Proclaim on it and start in the normal way
then at the appropriate time drop 'off air' flick across to the appropriate space and take up with keynote.
This can be done so quickly that the congregation hardly notice.
When the presentation is complete - flick back to Proclaim and go on air - it should start just where you left off.
