Interesting, though the logic a little slippery. If you read the other article ( http://cosmiclog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/05/08/11605245-3000-year-old-artifacts-reveal-history-behind-biblical-david-and-goliath?lite ) from the same dig, I was surprised at the statement Canaanites didn't eat pork either. So much for the early iron age villages.
