Creating Backgrounds; Inserting Logos

I hadn't seen this in any of the topics.

I see that there is a way to add background files that we can create ourselves using our own created themes. I do not see, though, the size that these need to be.

So that our slide backgrounds aren't cut-off or pixelated, what is the recommended size they should be?

Too, is this the only way to add an image or logo to a background

You'll want to be sure that the images match up to your desired aspect ratio of either 4:3 (Full Screen) or 16:9 (Widescreen). Also, they should be of high enough resolution that they are not overly pixelated on your projector.

If your projector is like most, with a 4:3 aspect ratio, you probably want to make your graphics with a size of 1024x768 pixels.

If you have a relatively new projector with a widescreen (16x9) aspect ratio, then you probably want to go with 1280x720 pixels.
