BUG? Owner rights.. No Edit?

ON my PC using 4.5b SR-1 (4.52.0.2194)
As the creator of a community note, I make a mistake but don't notice for a couple of days and want to change that typo, it doesn't seem possible.. even when I am sole person in group and created the note on same machine..
So I choose delete, and then re-add.. AARGH The default text appearing in the note is from the last note I added today to a different verse NOT the text from the verse I just deleted.. 
Unless you had copied the original [which thankfully I had 
] I would have lost text completely 
I think that is unhelpful design, if there is no activity then an edit option would be VERY helpful!!
