Why are there arrows in the text?

I'm just wondering what the significance of arrows in the text are.

For example in the Encyclopedia of Christianity (vol 1-3):

"They were united only in opposition to → Culture Protestantism and its false → reconciliation of the world with God."

I'm finding it scattered throughout other resources too. What is the arrow communicating?

Those are indicating clickable keywords (hyperlinks) which are other entries in the Encylopedia. The keywords should show up in blue, but it's hard to differentiate the dark blue from the surrounding black text. The arrows were probably in the printed edition where there was no hyperlink, and they just kept them in the Logos edition. But with the hyperlinks so hard to see, it is good they have the arrows.

Thanks Rosie! I did a quick search and couldn't find anything. Glad to know!! I wasn't sure if I was missing a connection between the words --- and sometimes it appeared in odd places. But this makes more sense to me now! I did notice they were always clickable, but didn't notice the difference in colour.

And looking this reference up shows it is formatted incorrectly -- the link should point to 'culture protestantism' but it instead points only to 'culture'. I reported it as a typo.

Nice spotting Gary. I didn't notice that - since I didn't know why the arrow was there. I wasn't sure if the links were related or just sort of a "we found this resource over here that defines this word". It's nice to know that the hyperlinks are directly related, not simply just possibly related resources.
