Logos stop working after Lion 10.7.4 update?

I cannot start Logos after Lion 10.7.4 update. I tried reinstalling it at least 5 times. Reinstalled lion as well but no success. Very frustrating.
When I start Logos the app opens, the screen appears grey, the music plays, and then it shuts down. I tried everything but my Logos just does not work anymore.

Steven: It's not Lion, It's Logos.
I too am running 10.7- No issues with Lion.
Lets see if we can get Smiling For Jesus on here. There is a little file, I think it's called "plist" ( not positive ). If you go an delete it, then reinstall Logos, I think you will get past the current problem.
The other thing is looking at how to load Logos to a blank screen.
That often helps.
I know, It's just nuts you can't get Logos support, screen share etc, on weekends.
Posting Logs does not help you-NOW- I know.
Couple of guys on here that can help, hopefully they will see this.
Do A search on "plist" on the forums, that might help as well.
Apparently when uninstalling, one needs to deal with that before re-installing.
Again, my memory could be bad, just hate to see you jammed up.
Come on guys, give a brother some help here.
Prayers Ascending Steven.

Uninstalling Logos 4 Mac includes 3 parameter list (plist) files that can be deleted when completely uninstalling Logos 4 Mac.Fr. Charles R. Matheny said:The other thing is looking at how to load Logos to a blank screen.
Wiki => Logos 4 Keyboard Shortcuts For Mac includes sign-in tip.
Steven Langella said:When I start Logos the app opens, the screen appears grey, the music plays, and then it shuts down.
If using stable Logos 4 Mac release, one suggestion is contacting Logos Mac Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact (albeit phone lines are closed on Saturday and Sunday in Bellingham, WA)
The other suggestion is enabling, then posting diagnostic log files (in a compressed archive) for Logos user and employee comments. Hopefully the log files provide insight about not starting (can compare content with logs from Logos 4.5b SR-1 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 that is working).
Could enable diagnostic logging, restart Mac, launch Logos 4 Mac, click "Sign In" if dialog box appears. If Logos Bible Software 4 window does not appear, wait for 4 minutes. If still no window, then compress log files and attach to a forum reply. Wiki Mac Troubleshooting has => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac
Optional: download and use 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.
- the applescript application uses the terminal commands in wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac
Optional: download and use Logos Log Scribe application to create a zip file on your desktop that includes your diagnostic logs plus a copy of console messages.
Keep Smiling

Curious which direction(s) were confusing ? (after many forum discussions, have updated a number of WIki pages)
By the way, in OS X Lion, Apple has hidden access to your Library, which is used by Logos 4 Mac.
Wiki Mac Troubleshooting includes tip:
OS X Lion note: by default, ~/Library folder is hidden, with many ways to see contents => http://www.macworld.com/article/161156/2011/07/view_library_folder_in_lion.html and can assign keyboard shortcut => http://mac.finerthingsin.com/post/7849528212/lion-library-folder-visible

Logos phone lines open at 6 am Monday in Bellingham, WA. With your permission, Logos can remotely share desktop while troubleshooting.

I can see my Library Folder when I press option/A/3 and click on GO. I see my library but I do not understand what I am supposed to do or what to look for? I deleted Logos completely each time and have reinstalled but no success. I am in a bit deep with all this diagnostic stuff. I thought it would be simple like Go to Folder A and pick number 1.
So I guess I have to wait till Monday. THanks

If you are willing and anxious to try and get things up and running before Monday, I will try to explain more clearly how to get your logs.
- First you will need to enable logging. You can do this one of two ways. First, you can push and hold the command key immediately after starting Logos. This will bring up the login screen. This will enable Logging for one session only. The second way is to download a small script (HERE) which will allow you to turn logging on and off permanently at will. Either method is fine, but if you end up needing logs more than once, the script is nice.
- Second, you will need to find the log. This is slightly more tricky with Lion since the user Library is hidden by default. To find it, from the finder window go menu, push and hold the option key. This will reveal the library to you. The path to the Logging file is Library > Application Support > Logos4 > Logging. We are looking for the Logos4.log.
- Third, you will need to move or copy this file to the desktop so that you can navigate to it.
- Finally, you will upload the log in the forums.
This log may tell one of the techie users what is going wrong. It may simply be a corrupt file that you need to delete, which would fix your issue. In fact, since you have reinstalled the software and this issue persists, it very well may be that there is a file causing this problem. This user data does not get written over when you reinstall the app! (That is normally a good thing… otherwise you would have to redownload all your resources and reindex every time there was an update!)

When you say that you "deleted Logos completely each time," do you mean that you trashed the application from the application menu, or do you mean that you went into the Library and deleted files (which you should not do unless directed to!)?

Please attach them; looking at Logos4.log file (about 25 % reviewed so far), already know a Logos 4 database file is malformed (unusable), which is used by Sync Manager.

Here is the log. Now what?
Wait for a techie to read it like I do [:)] I look at the logs sometimes, but I am cautious about giving out advice unless I am fairly certain I understand what I am reading. I did help another user with similar symptoms today get up and running, but I think it was a different issue.

I am curious about how MacKeeper may effect Logos. I have never used the program. Any thoughts KS4J? Could it cause problems?

The Logos4.log file has two malformed error messages: one at 23:41:10 and one at 23:41:29 with both sets of messages having Preference issues.
Looking in ~/Library/Application Support/Logos4/documents/<random folder>/ noticed three folders that include Preferences.
One option is moving those folders: LocalUserPreferences, UserPreferences, and UserPreferences2 to your desktop (or trash), then launch Logos 4 Mac again, which should cause those folders and corresponding Preference database files to be created. If crash repeats, upload new files in Logging folder.
Other option is waiting to call Logos Mac Support.

Logos 4 Mac has a number of application SQLite database files, which reside in your Logos 4 folder. The error log files shows database malformed error messages starting at 09:38:48 on 12 May 2012.

However, I did have MacKeeper hang during a scan—Language junk files—while L4 Mac was open. Probably not related, but interesting [^o)]
