Hi,

This document is giving me some warnings.  The first one has to do with too many characters in an article.  The other has to do with article length being 0.  Any idea how I can get rid of them?

Thank you.

for second issue if using Word search for ^p^p and replace with ^p

    RE Other Messages
[Warning] Article too long, forcing article break
[Warning] Article --- has x characters. Consider shortening this article.

Nothing you can do except add the occasional paragraph but can be ignored as far as I an aware

Thank you for looking into it.  Removing the double paragraph marks took care of the [Warning] Article too long, forcing article break problem.  I am still at a loss though why the compiling did not throw many more warnings since the document has a bunch of double paragraph marks.  The double paragraph marks organize the document much better in different sections.  If I remove all double paragraphs I need to replace them with something else to better organize the document.  Any good suggestions for doing that?

    Thank you.

There is no problem in general with double paragraph marks, it's just when the first of them is formatted as a Heading style paragraph (or has Outline Level set to something other than Body Text). Just make sure they are all Normal paragraphs and you should not get the warning. That warning is benign anyway.  You can totally ignore it. The PB will still compile fine. Some people have this idea that they have to get rid of all the warnings, but you don't. They are just warnings, not errors. The PB compiler can deal with ignoring what it thinks is a problem and moving on.

Thank you for your input.  I replaced the double paragraphs with ^l^p and that did the trick.  I also added a few paragraphs to the long articles and got rid of the long article warnings. So now my PBs compile error and warning free[Y][:)]

George, If you are striving for perfection, the Personal Books tool doesn't currently recognize Exo as a valid abbreviation of Exodus.  Since your document uses that abbreviation, in Microsoft Word 2010 in the home view, on the right side, at the top is an editor tool called replace.  In the "Find What" place enter Exo and then a space and in the "Replace" place enter Ex and then a space and then hit replace all, and it will replace all the abbreviations Exo with Ex, which will be recognized by Personal Books as an abbreviation for Exodus and make it a hyperlink.

Not sure about the perfection part, but thank you for pointing it out. [:)]
