Personal Books Drops Out and Shuts down Logos
I have uploaded two of my books. It worked. But it has failed to upload two others. They are both in .docx. It starts to convert and then drops out and shuts down Logos. What is wrong?

By "upload" do you mean "compile"? If the personal books are public domain works, you could upload the .docx files in the forum for others to look at. If they are not yours to share, I would suggest breaking up the .docx file into smaller chunks to see if you can isolate the problem.

Yes, I mean compile. It gets through compile then drops out. I will try the breaking it into smaller chunks. Thanks.

After infuriating attempts that failed, I cut the book in half. The first half compiled and loaded into Logos. The 2nd half would not. I finally saved it as a .rtf file and then back to .docx and it worked.

Glad it worked. [:)]
Saving to .rtf often eliminates small things that cause problems with compiling, especially when the source material is from the internet.
