quality control on Bible references

I was reading through MacArthur's Bible Handbook. In the section on Ephesians, MacArthur references 1 Tim 1:3 and later, in the same paragraph, he reference 1:4, 4:3 and 1:7. Logos takes the reader to Ephesians instead of 1 Timothy. I checked several other books to see if this was an isolated mistake. It is not. Evidently, Logos incorrectly assumes that any reference without a book points to something other than the most recent, previous reference which would be more logical.
Since Logos promotes this feature in almost every book they try to sell, this mistake seems pretty important. It means that any Scripture reference has the potential of being incorrect if it does not include the book and chapter.
Blessings to all and awaiting a reply.

I hope you also reported some of these via report typo (right click) - you can comment there that it is wide spread.
