This morning I did a word search of "sound." I was looking for sound as in noise, but also saw results for sound as in valid or orthodox.

It would be neat to have the ability to refine word searches according to meaning.

While I oppose the use of interlinears for several reasons, it might be helpful for the purposes of disambiguation if you were to use the word in the original language which is translated by "sound" (or other word as the circumstances require) so that an interlinear could serve as a source for the original language word which would then be used in a morphological search. When you do a morphological search and insert a Greek/Hebrew word as the search term you will then need to select the usage for the term. E.g. in the Hebrew the word רוח can be a noun or a verb. As a verb it means "to smell" while as a noun it is "spirit" or "breath" or "wind." It can also be "relief." There are different pointings to the different meanings, but the search does not distinguish according to pointing (otherwise the different pointing of the same word when used in different contexts would be excluded). In Gen 1 we see the use of רוח in the sense of "wind" when it says that the רוח אלהים was moving over the surface of the waters.  In 1 Sam 1.15, however, it signifies the human spirit when Hannah states that she has a "troubled spirit."  Then again it frequently signifies God's spirit.  These will not be distinguished though other usages such as the verb "to rest" (used of Noah) will be distinguished.
