I have a library of loops that I have been collecting over the years, is there a way to use these for song slides? I dont see a way to browse locally for backgrounds.
You need the items circled - the first at the top right of the screen shot 'Edit'.
The second at the bottom left 'file'.
You also need to have selected 'Background' which is hidden by the file list.

I don't know if it's because I don't have a license (still evaluating, and hoping for an import feature from EW soon) to air, but I can select a local video loop on my desktop computer, but when it syncs (lower left corner, status pop-up of the "uploading"), it never seems to get past about 90-something percent, then fail with a retry.
EDIT: launched today and got an update to install first. this time when I add a local loop to a song, it went all the way through, and now is transcoding... (waiting for complete before checking on my laptop...

I'm glad that worked out for you! One thing to note is that updates will sometimes make certain functionality not work correctly until you have installed the update. Restarting Proclaim will prompt you to install an update.
For this reason I would suggest shutting Proclaim down when done with a session so that you always start up with the most current version.

Can you explain this to me{file video loop backgrounds on songs}. I found it via keywords & do not quite understand the answer = items circled??
I am in final stages od checking the software for reccommendation & this is the #1 issue. I have video loop backgrounds purchased over the years via Sermonspice etc...A small fortune in them in fact & my congregation is accustomed to them. I will have a hard sell if in order to use Proclaim we have to dump video backgrounds & go strict;y still image for song/lyric background.

Video loops (in the correct format) work fine.
1 Add the words to a song in a song item.
2. Select Background
3. Click on 'File' (as shown in my screen shot in the post above. This will open a standard file viewer.
4. Select the video background you wish to use.
5. Choose whether to play it from the computer (local file only) or sync it up to logos for multi computer use (standard)
