BUG - Proclaim 1.5 crash (Mac) when inserting PPTX (not PPT)

steps:

1. open proclaim

2. in new or existing presentation click 'add items;

3. click 'import powerpoint'

4. select any pptx (i've tried several different pptx files)

( clicking local check box seems to not affect outcome)

5. click 'add'

results: proclaim PREPARING spinny logo is displayed, and within a minute or so it crashes.

I've included a pptx file that it definitely crashes on as well ...

The 3rd party tool we use to generate the slides is having trouble with the theme you're using. Use PowerPoint to change the background and retry the import.

i'd like to point out that proclaim crashes regardless of the pptx I try to import (so far) -- every single one. I think it's a bit extreme to say that to use proclaim and import my existing powerpoints, that I'd have to edit every single one ... I think the plug in needs some work.

just installed the update -- it seems to be letting some pptx's in, but not all .. but at least it doesn't crash, now I get an unexpected error occurred ...

We made changes to handle (not crash) the case when the document fails to load. We have reported the issue to the 3rd party that provides the PPT conversion tool. We still don't know what is unique about your presentations theme, we have not seen this w/ any other users, yet. Thanks for your patience.
