Is it possible to put PDF documents into Notes?
You can copy and past the PDF into your notes if the PDF doesn't have any graphics. And it is very likely that you will also lose the formatting found in the PDF.
Thanks. I will give that a try. Unhappily, most of the PDFs I want to insert as Notes do have graphics. I hope they overcome this limitations in the future.
Hi Steve
Would creating a Personal Book - http://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books - be a better option for you?
Graham
I would not going to be holding my breath on this. There is a rumor that L5 will be able to index our PDF files, but I doubt that they will create a tool that will convert a PDF to L4/L5.
There are some (not many) PDF file converts that do a halfway good job in converting a PDF to a doc/docx file. Then you can create a PB from that file.
Unhappily, most of the PDFs I want to insert as Notes do have graphics.
Then I can't think of more than two options right now: making it into a Personal Book, or simply pasting a link to it in the note.
Anyway, Notes weren't designed for whole articles, only for, well, notes. People who put too much there tend to complain that L4 in general, and Notes in particular, has become slow as molasses.
