Trouble with My Passage Guide

I was not using my custom passage guide ("My Passage Guide"), so I deleted it and created a new one. Now when I type in a verse on the Go/Home Page, it comes up fine, but I also get Exegetical Guide (which I had nothing selected for), plus 5 Bibles plus "New Manners and Customs of the Bible". Where is this coming from?

Hi Dominick,
If I'm understanding you correctly what you're describing is designed behavior. When doing a citation search from the home page both the Passage and Exegetical guides are supposed to appear along with a 5 bibles, a commentary, and Information and Text Comparison panels.

OK thanks. For some reason I thought when you used your own passage guide that's all that came up. Bad memory I guess! Thanks.

As you have discovered you cannot get to "your" Custom "My Guide" from the Home Page--somehow the program forces it to go straight to the Logos4 default.
I must deliberately go into the "Guide" Menu and select "my guide" from the list in the custom bible study guide section. [or perhaps save it onto the short-cut bar?]

When I enter a passage in the home page go box, I get the default layout with my custom Passage Guide and Exegetical Guide. Do you see something different?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

MJ - I can get my custom passage guide from the homepage go box, but is there any to get my custom layout instead of the default layout?

Thanks Mj, I stand corrected.
Noe I'm not sure what I thought I was seeing.
Interestingly enough, My Text Comparison loads "blank" -- there
IS NO text tp compareAh, It appear that I have to enter a "re-cognized" pericope. OK

Not that I'm aware of
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
