Pre Service Loop

One of the biggest problems I have with Proclaim is the inability to get out of the Pre-Service loop while it's On Air. I've found that if I double-click down, it will get out of the loop, but will skip the first "Warm Up" slide (if I have a Warm Up Section) or first "Service" slide. It should not skip any slides at all!

So, while Proclaim is On Air, how do you advance out of the Pre Service Loop without double-clicking during the Pre-Service Loop? Sometimes our services start late, and I don't want to have to worry about the Pre-Service Loop stopping at 10:00am (if that is the service time listed for Proclaim) if people are still arriving.

The pre-service loop will loop until the time at which the warm-up would complete at the prescribed service start time. For example -

three 30 second items in my warm-up
service start time set to 10am
go On Air at 9:30am

My pre-service loop will loop until 9:58:30 when the warm-up section will automatically start.

If you want to exit early you can double click the service item outside the loop as you described. It should not skip the slide you double clicked. I tried to reproduce this unsuccessfully. What platform are you using? Windows or Mac? If you give me an example presentation title I can take a look at your data.

I'm struggling with exactly the same issue.... How do I manually advance the presentation beyond the pre-service loop onto the next slide? No amount of 'double clicking' or 'double arrowing' will move things along... Any help, greatly appreciated.

Just downloaded it so its bang up to date on my macbook pro with OSX 10.8.2 (latest ver)

many thanks for your help, it would save having to alter the service times each time I want to test the presentation with smartphones etc.

Paul, I am also running 1.08.0.0096 on 10.8.2. To be absolutely clear, what problem are you seeing? Are you not able to exit out of the Pre-Service Loop at all by double-clicking on a slide in the Warm-Up or Service areas? Are you skipping over the first service item in the Warm-Up or Service area when you double-click on it?

I am able to successfully exit out of the Pre-Service Loop by double clicking on a service item in the Warm-Up or Service areas. Could you provide some very precise steps of exactly what you are doing and what behavior you are seeing?

I could be wrong but it sounds like you are on a single-monitor setup and are trying to figure out how to advance past the pre-service loop while on-air (when the only thing displayed is the actual slide).

If this is the case you can hold down the Command (⌘) key and press the right arrow key to advance service items past the pre-service section.
