Bug: Videos will not play

Videos that play fine with Windows Media Player would not play this morning during service. I restarted Proclaim, tried again, but there was only one time that one of the two played briefly.
I set up one to occur during the warm-up, and added a countdown timer to it. The other was set up as a normal service item, set to "Do nothing" after completion.
After the pre-service loop, the countdown showed up, but no video. I tried to troubleshoot by restarting Proclaim (during service) and re-play the countdown, nothing happened. When I double-clicked the other video, it started to play, so I hit the "pause" button and re-wound it to the beginning, thinking at least this one would start.
Instead, when it came time to show the video, nothing was working at all. Not even a preview showed in the edit pane. I ended up putting Windows Media Player on the screen to watch the video - VERY unprofessional looking with me dragging a Windows Media window over, hitting maximize and play.
As much as I like proclaim, updates that break things like this one are getting really old, and I'm seriously considering going back to EW because I *know* what will and won't work in that program.

Sorry to hear about your issues with Proclaim this weekend. We haven't made any obvious changes to the Proclaim video player. From your error log I can see that Windows Media Player is throwing errors but unfortunately we didn't have detailed enough logging to tell exactly what the error means. I have enhanced the logging so if it happens again we should know more about the root cause.
Are you still able to reproduce the issue?

I'll have another go at it this evening if I can get into the building, otherwise it will be Sunday. FWIW, we've not had any problems with playing media in the past. Both of these videos played fine using Windows Media Player.

Ok, same issue. It played ok when I wasn't in On Air mode, at least the first time. After I rewound one neither would play. Nothing played in on-air mode even after a restart. Note, both played fine again in Windows Media Player.
Logs attached.

Hey,
We had the same problem tonight. It was our first time using Proclaim and we really love it. however the videos would only show 2 seconds and then stop. not sure what was happening because they were working fine at home when we set up the presentation.

It would be helpful for you to post your log files to this thread per the instructions here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/39446.aspx
Also, are you uploading on a Mac or PC? What platform is the computer you're presenting on?
Do you have the Flip4Mac codec pack,
or the 3ivx codec pack installed? Thanks,
