What permissions are needed? I read another post on permissions and they were not minimal, they were allowing unrestrained purchasing and other unwanted stuff.

You can install Logos Android directly from the Amazon App Store without any adjustments to the Kindle Fire settings.  To install directly from Logos, see this:

    Kevin,

The permissions required by Logos are not unlike other internet accessing programs.

For example it needs access to data which can cost money. It asks for access to the address book which it uses for the sharing features. etc.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

The only way I can go through the Amazon store is to delete what I already have... But then I run into other problems, like losing my installed library.

I want to know what needs to be done without giving it purchasing options. Otherwise,  I may run into this same problem on the next upgrade. Also, I have no address book on my Kindle. I will not put private information on a portable device like a tablet.
