I just installed Mountain Lion (final downloaded from the app store) and Logos 4 for the Mac will not open. Even after rebooting it will not open. I get an error report with details but the app won't open.
Welcome [:D]
Wonder if Logos diagnostic log files have any insights ?

What type of machine are you installing Mountain Lion (ML) on?
Is it the official release or a Beta version?
Installed the ML official release over Snow Leopard today and no problems so far.

Sorry Ben. Could you create a new thread and repost new logs? I remember trying to look at your logs, but they were beyond me or not posted correctly (I don't remember which). I am on vacation and am working from my iPad so someone else will have to look at them, but it will help you to get attention by creating a new thread.

Here is the crash log. It didn't seem to help me much but maybe it would make more sense to someone else.

From Apple's crash report, know Logos 4.5c SR-3 crashed on OS X 10.8; would like to look at Logos 4 Mac diagnostic log files.

Concur crash log does not help much (confirms Logos 4.5c SR-3 crashed on OS X 10.8). Personally would like to look at Logos4.log and Logos4Error.log files; wiki has => Mac Diagnostic Logging

I upgraded and there has been no issues with Logos 4. It started quickly, and searches were not a problem. If you want to upgrade to 10.8, do not worry about Logos 4. Mine works just fine.

I did a clean install (wanted to get rid of several programs I don't use and didn't want to wade through all the library folders). Running for three days without any problems (including using during 36 hours of indexing).

What do you mean by "Latest beta of L4?"
Do you mean version? (Logos Bible Software 4.5c SR-3 (4.53.0.2294))
Could you do a clean install of ML or is that out-of-the question?

Clean install isn't an option. I'm running the most recent Beta from the beta forum, i.e. Logos Bible Software 4.6 Beta 1 (4.60.0.2634)

'Tis the latest L4 beta version that's not playing nice with Mountain Lion.
How easy is it to backtrack the beta? In other words, install previous beta versions? One of those may work well with ML.
Or...skip the Beta versions entirely and just run the latest official L4 version (4.5c SR-3). That seems to be working OK for many ML users.
Or...wait until the next Beta version release. OK--maybe not.
Don't get too bummed out! It will work out for you!

Logos 4 Mac Beta has a forum for discussing issues => Mac Beta

Not an option since the Logos 4 Mac application updates the version in SQLite database files. If database version is newer than Logos 4 Mac application, the application quits. Wiki has => Want to downgrade from Beta to Stable

The gz file showed diagnostic logging is not enabled; the error log has an unusual parameter message. One idea is enabling diagnostic logging.

Logos seems to be running smoother with Mountain Lion. Anyone else noticing this?
