Hi,
I am really going nuts with multiple copies of the same Reversed Interlinear English Bible within the same Layout or across multiple Layouts on my system.
I wanted the options to display more or less information for each copy of the RVI resource:
- some cases I want RVI to display only the English surface text, without Interlinear Pane (due to space constraints)
- some other cases I want more or less information from the interlinear Pane (space or relevance considerations)
- In yet other cases I want the inline Display with more or less information (space or relevance considerations)
I just want my Layout to come out the way I constructed and saved ... I hope I am making sense. Out of desperation I spent one morning to attempt to orderly recreate the problem, so that Logos can consider if this is a bug to fix.
Work around: I discovered, is to turn off both Interlinear Pane and Inline Display
for ALL RVI Resources (?)
Observation: if settings information are uniquely kept for each and every copy of the same RVI across All Layouts, I think we should be OK.
The Layout below is what I used for this discussion, I labeled the Tiles 1,2,3 and 4 where 1:Top Left, 2: Top Right, 3: Bottom Right and 4: Bottom Left.

I recalled the sequence of accessing each Tile will determine how each of these (window) handles are internally stacked. So I reconstruct this same layout and update the layout each time it gets messed up for the following 4 cases by resetting each tiles in the following order for each case:
- Case 1: Tile 1, 2, 3 followed by 4
- Case 2: Tile 2, 3, 4, followed by 1
- Case 3: Tile 3, 4, 1 followed by 2
- Case 4: Tile 4, 1, 2 followed by 3
- I repeat the process with repeatable and consistent messed up(s).
Instead of getting my Layout as above, the following is what I get when I load my layout following the sequence in the 4 cases above:
- Case 1: Tile 1, 2, 3 followed by 4

- Case 2: Tile 2, 3, 4, followed by 1

- Case 3: Tile 3, 4, 1 followed by 2

- Case 4: Tile 4, 1, 2 followed by 3
