Trying to Add signals to image slideshow or powerpoint

I'm using Proclaim on a mac and trying to add signals to a power point I have imported.  I cannot figure how to select an individual slide for the signal to come up with.  Or am I not understanding how signals work and they will all come up when the powerpoint is broadcast.  I wanted to have individual signals sent as we go thru the powerpoint with different verses on different slides.

Also the notes say during import, Proclaim recognizes bible verses and adds signals, but I notice it only recognizes a few and not all bible verses.  Does this have something to do with how the powerpoint is formatted?

Signals are applied to the slide item as a whole, and not to an individual slide. That is an interesting idea and I would encourage you to post it on our uservoice page: http://proclaim.uservoice.com/ 

Proclaim is not able to interpret many of the text and animation styles supported by PowerPoint. Were you using animations on the bible reference text in the imported presentation?

Also, superscripts and subscripts might be causing problems for the signal recognition feature.
