How Can I add an Audio file to the pre service loop?

Audio is only available on video items.

Audio is promised but on the long finger.

Where MP3 files as part of the presentation would be very useful is as follows:

Color background
Text to be able to say which Praise book to use, page number and Hymn etc
Play/start/rewind if necessary the audio file from that page
Bells and whistles for those who want an auto start with so many seconds parameter

I would also love to play mp3s within pre-service, post-service loop. auto play/stop when loop is entered/exited.

in powerpoint, an mp3 on one slide will continue to play as slides advance.

you could have an mp3 player built in to the Proclaim control panel with a library/set-list to cycle through songs.

end-users could simply use windows media player, but it'd be nice to have auto play/stop based on where one is in the presentation.
