Where are the notes from?

This may be an ignorant question, but where do the default notes come from?  I've downloaded the app and have Logos4, but I'm wondering about using this in my Bible study groups and would like to know where these notes are from.  It's different from, say the ESV Study Bible - there I can find contributors, etc...  I'm imagining I could do the same here, but I don't know how.  This type of app/program is still fairly new in how to use it, but I like the community aspect as far as Bible study and leading a group - being able to (eventually) get them my notes and prep them beforehand a bit more...but I still want to know where the default notes are from:  Lexham Study Bible?  Then how do community notes show up?  What kind of "control" do you have over what your FSB sees and displays?  Thanks.

if I recall correct, the ESV SB also gives names only for the bigger, "theological" entries (I think they actually published trhem as a book now). FSB does the same, so articles like "OT theologies of the afterlife" display the contributor - in this case, Michael S. Heiser. For the small explanatory notes, a team of contributors is named here: http://faithlifebible.com/contributors . 

Then how do community notes show up?

Community Notes are a feature of Logos that works accross platforms and on all resources, it is not linked to FSB. You may simply add a Community Note to a bible verse or paragraph in a resource (right click, "add Community Note") and assign this note to a Faithlife.com group you are member of. Members and Followers of this group can see the note in the resource, and can also see the Community Notes in a new tab on the group's page on Faithlife.com .

Thus, if you set up a group for your bible study, you may have it as "open" (anyone interested may join at any time)  or "closed" - you as admin grant access to all members. Only members will see the Community Notes for the group. You may play with this feature by e.g. joining group FaithlifeBeta - look for existing Community Notes or write your own.

What kind of "control" do you have over what your FSB sees and displays?

Your FSB is a resource bundle that sees nothing and displays what Logos editors have published, just like any other resource. The Community notes are added to the resources as I tried to explain and are visible for group members only (unless you assign them to "My faithlife", which means all users). In turn, usually all group members may write these notes as they seem fit (group admins may delete notes or members), reply to existing notes and delete their own notes including replies.
