S L O W

This is now the third week we are having this issue. When you press the right arrow button, it take forever for the slide to advance.
It's a problem especially when reciting something like the creed which spans multiple slides. Or music for that fact. I know proclaim is supposed to "download" the presentation into memory to run from, so why the delay?
Any others experiencing this issue? We are using a pc.

Hi (again).
I think that slow slide transitions would be rattling the forum if they were a common problem.
Perhaps it might be helpful to give some more details about the computer you are using Proclaim on.
I have heard somewhere that Windows PCs often run something call 'Virus Scanners' and these can have an effect on the speed of a computer?
If you run one of these have you tried disconnecting from the internet and tuning it off to see if it makes any difference?
You could also try posting your logs to the forum to see if there is anything there of interest to the developers.

If your PC is not a 'powerhouse' I suggest using 'No Transition' and see if the speed improves, this made a HUGE difference on an old craptop we use in an alternate location sometimes...

This is good advice. You might also see if you have any updates available for your video card, which can help improve performance.
