Bema, and Sheep Goat

I am going through the scriptures studying on the judgment of God, and I cannot figure out why some people separate the sheep goat judgment, and the bema seat judgement. Is there a biblical basis for doing so? I was taught these are two different judgement. The bema seat was for believers, but the sheep goat judgement deals with believers also. I would post this on faithlife but there does not seem to be a lot of people on it these days.

You might look at Gingrich's The Nine Judgments of the New Testament.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks I just purchased it, and it was helpful. He does show why he believes the judgments are different.
