Power Point addition

Every time I try to add a PowerPoint file (does not matter if it .ppt or .pptx) Proclaim reports that something ("an unexpected error occurred") went wrong.

Do I check the upload "the local file" only, or does this not matter?

I am on a Mac Mountain Lion.

It might be helpful if you were to follow the instructions here immediately after receiving the report.
