Logos 4 is available and will read Vyrso books - not the answer to your question but perhaps of interest to some reading your question.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Hi Josh
I don't have a Kindle Fire but there are people using them to run the Logos Bible app - see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/47837.aspx for an example.
The Bible app and Vyrso app are available in Amazon.com - http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=vyrso+app&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Avyrso+app&ajr=0
So with Vyrso and the Bible app sharing the same codebase it should work - but I don't know anything further.
If, for some reason, the Vyrso app doesn't work you can access the same resources in the Bible app.

I'm new to Logos and to all this technical "lingo". First, what does codebase mean? Secondly, I'm thinking of getting a Kindle Touch. Will I be able to use Logos 4 on it?
"On Fire"

I don't know what a coddebase is. there is a logos app for kindle fire. You can go to amazon and see all the kindle fire apps. other android apps usually work.

Don't worry about it. That is a term for techies and not for general users. [;)]

The "kindle touch" is not an android based device and there is no Logos app available for it. Logos does have an andriod app which runs on the KINDLE FIRE if that is what you meant.

Just to clarify terms... "Logos 4" is a desktop application for PC or MAC. It does not run on mobile devices such as phones and tablets. Logos has a mobile app for both Apple's iOS devices (iPhone; iPad) and Andriod.
If you are looking to purchase a new device, you might want to wait a month or so. There are strong rumors that Apple will release an iPad "mini" by the end of the month. Even if you are not interested in that product, it could cause a chain reaction for other devices to lower their prices.

it seems that as popular as the Fire is it would make sense to make a native app for it.

There is the native Logos app. Vyrso is in the Amazon app store, but probably due to the nature/type of books sold on Vyrso.com they won't allow it on the Kindle Fire from their store. I do believe it can be side loaded. But the Logos app will work just fine.
