    Calvin, I grew up in Rush County Indiana. Knowles Shaw, even though long gone, was well remembered in Rush County. He preached at Big Flatrock Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and I attended its sister church on the other side of the county Little Flatrock Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We would have "singspirations" from time to time and if we had one at Big Flatrock, there was no question....we were going to sing "Bringing in the Sheaves!" When I moved to Tucson, in the late '60's, no one had ever heard of Knowles Shaw.
