So far no one seems to have found a way to get this to work on Mac, unless you also have Windows available. Experiments are going on. [:)]
Do you have L4 Win installed anywhere? If so, you can import the list(s) into the Windows version. Then they will automatically synch into you L4 Mac. I keep Windows around for two reasons:
1) To accomplish such tasks as these when L4 Mac will not work.
2) It builds my ego as I congratulate myself on that stroke of genius I had 28 years ago to choose Macs as my compute of choice. [:D]

Wonder if have tried creating folder ~/Libronix DLS/WordLists then copying your word list into the folder followed by Import Word Lists command ? (note: the Libronix DLS folder does have one space between Libronix and DLS)
Personally created folder ~/Libronix DLS/WordLists then copied file WordList-3John-1x.lbxwdl from my Libronix 3.0g installation and used Import Word Lists command in Logos 4.6 on Mac OS X 10.6.8:

That will not work unless the user can acquire the word list from Logos 3.
As Jones noted in the initial post, he does not have Logos 3 installed, so this will not work. Any attempt to download word lists from the Logos website and import them into L4 Mac is doomed to failure. That is the problem that no one has been able to solve.
Thanks for all your suggestions, but none of these works for me.
Never mind, I will do without
Thanks
Personally created folder ~/Libronix DLS/VocabularyLists then copied a couple vocabulary lists from http://www.logos.com/training/vocabularylists (changing file name to *.lbxvl by removing .xml addition from download using Safari), followed by Import All command using Logos 4.6 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 that now has a couple new items in the File menu:
Thankful still have a working Libronix 3.0g installation (on Windows 7) so can show folder names within Libronix DLS folder:
Also learned Import Word Lists command in Logos 4.6 on Mac can import *.lbxvl (vocabulary list) files in folder ~/Libronix DLS/VocabularyLists (copied some lists from http://www.logos.com/training/vocabularylists then changed file name). Note: the folder "Libronix DLS" has one space between Libronix and DLS while folder VocabularyLists has no spaces. Logos 4.6 only looks for one spelling of these folders; variants do not work and the Libronix DLS folder must be in your user's folder /Users/<username> that has a shortcut expression of ~
To see .xml addition to a file name, can change Finder Preferences:
