On startup, Logos always defaults to "All parallel resources" for Bibles

I have six Bibles in a collection titled "Bibles - Core Group". When I start Logos, that collection is always the first collection listed and has a check-mark by the collection title, but Logos still defaults to its own "All parallel resources" collection unless/until I click on the Parallel resource sets drop-down arrow.

When I click on the drop-down arrow, it shows two resource sets. The first is my collection titled "Bibles - Core Group" and it is check-marked as the collection being used. The second is the "All parallel resources" collection. But unless I click on that drop-down arrow to display the available collections, Logos defaults to the "All parallel resources" collection and ignores the fact that my "Bibles - Core Group" collection is listed first and is check-marked as the collection to be used.

I'm currently running the most recent Logos release (4.60.0.2972), but have had the same issue for at least the last few releases. Does anyone else see this kind of behavior? Is there something I can do to encourage Logos to use my "Bibles - Core Group" without having to click on the Parallel resource sets drop-down arrow every time I start Logos?

I presume you are using the arrow keys to navigate between bibles but you have to first click on the Parallel Resources button to use the desired collection?

I have a similar issue (in Logos 4.5c) :-

I have a collection called Greek Bibles which includes LGNTI
I click on tab for LGNTI and use the right arrow key
it moves to NA27 then Scrivener 1881 and then NASB95!
parallel resource sets shows English Interlinears and All Parallel Resources (ticked)

When I first open LGNTI the Parallel Sets are:

So it appears to be following my Greek Bibles collection initially, then jumps me with NASB95!

If I click Greek Bibles at the start, though, it does use that collection thereafter.

So I agree that the user's collection should be ticked initially (AND used), rather than All Parallel Resources. What we have observed is unexpected behaviour.

Note: I get the same results in v4.6.

Yes, I am using the arrow keys to cycle through/between Bibles. I think what you are experiencing is similar to what happens to me, but with the following differences.

As the picture below shows, when I first start Logos and click on the drop-down arrow for Parallel resource sets, it shows my "Bibles - Core Group" listed first and checked as the collection to be used. But if I don't first click on the drop-down arrow to get this display, Logos cycles through the resources as shown under "All parallel resources". I believe this is different from your example in that the collection I want used is in fact the one checked, whereas in the last picture you provided for your scenario, the "Greek Bibles" collection you want used is not checked, even though it's listed first.
Also, in my scenario, until I click the Parallel resource sets drop-down arrow, Logos seems to properly cycle through all the resources listed under "All parallel resources", and after clicking on the drop-down arrow to get the display as shown below, then it properly cycles through the resources in my "Bibles - Core Group" collection. So I don't see any funny-busines in the resource cycling within a collection. My only problem is that Logos won't "wake up" and use the check-marked collection until I hit that drop-down arrow.

I can confirm the problem that you have described.

While Logos remembers which parallel resource set (PRS) you have selected (indicated by the tick), nonetheless, each time you restart Logos and try to use the left / right arrow key to cycle through the desired PRS, Logos will instead blindly use the logos default "All parallel resources" set and cycle through it. For it to work you need to click on PRS button once for what you want to work.

Very sad to see that such obvious things has not been fixed, since Logos re-introduced the favorite Logos 3 PRS into Logos 4. In anycase I am so used to clicking the PRS button that I forgot that it is an issue until I see you post here [:)]
