Font formatting?

Hi,
1) One thing I cannot figure out is how to make lines in a song with more space between the lines. When you put a CR in the lyric, it puts it on a new slide which is nice but if the bridge, for example, only has 2 lines then they are in the center right on top of each other with no space in between. How do you put more space between the lines?
2) I notice that the font only gets so big even when you make the number bigger. I have lyrics that cannot get any bigger and very small when displayed. Is there anyway to change the font of slides separately? This is a very basic functionality that is available in every other presentation software.

1. Line spacing, like half the useful formatting features in Proclaim, is tucked away under the Customize tab.
2. Nope. Think of that as a "max font size" number. About 80% of the time, Proclaim will shrink a line rather than introduce a line break. The easiest thing to do is just to bow to the whims of the software gnomes and break a long line up. This often means that lines of hymns get broken into half-lines. C'est la vie.

When we designed Proclaim, our hope was to take away the need to tweak and customize constantly. We looked at other applications that offered 25 settings for every block of text, and thought it would be nice if an artist chose the font, colors, and sizes, and the software just adapted (by changing font size to fit song lyrics) as needed.
We underestimated people's desire to tweak everything; customize was meant to be a rarely-used override, not something you use on every slide.
We expected the ability to quickly change backgrounds -- and have text position, font, color change appropriately -- would be worth the loss of detailed tweaking. (When you are managing all that stuff yourself, changing backgrounds often means changing all the other things, too, manually.)
We'll be looking at ways to offer easier customization on a per-slide basis in the future.
For now, if a line is too small in song lyrics, breaking it over two lines should create more room. (Do you know the name of the background that's not letting your lyrics get big enough? If you expand the "Store" with the four arrows icon, you should be able to see an info panel on each background over on the right.)
