Signals barely functional in current implementation

If the logos iOS Bible app closes at all then reopened, signals no longer work. So, if we send a signal to view PayPal or a website during service, the readers lose the connection to new signals. The only way to fix is to stop following and re-follow. We are expecting our members to know how to do that during service. Would love this fixed. Would also love push notifications so signals still push even when app isn't open.

I am unable to reproduce this behavior. Can you tell me which version of the Bible app you are running?

Not sure how to tell, but it's whatever is current on iOS app store

If you press the Settings icon (on the home page on the iPad, not sure where it is on the iPhone) and press "About" you get version information (among other things)

Sorry, I thought she was asking for the version of the bible app, not my iPad.

Hi Lucas.
Yes, she was and the steps I outlined above should provide it for that app.
I meant the settings icon from the homepage in the app - apologies if I wasn't clear.

We are aware of some signals problems on the current version of the app on iOS; those issues had to do with dropped connectivity on WiFi, which may be related to what you are experiencing. These issues have been resolved in an upcoming update, though I don't have an exact ship date on that for you.
I am slightly confused by your statement: "If the logos iOS Bible app closes at all then reopened, signals no longer work. So, if we send a signal to view PayPal or a website during service, the readers lose the connection to new signals." When users click on a signal in the Bible app, it shouldn't close the app. The link to Paypal or another website should open in a browser window within the Bible app, though users can choose to view it outside of Safari if they want to. Is that what is happening?
Regarding your wish for push notifications, I would encourage you to suggest that feature on http://proclaim.uservoice.com/.

Yes, I understand what you're saying, that the links should open WITHIN Logos Bible app. But, there are times when people leave the app, or for example, when sending a calendar or contact information signal, they go and edit the information or view more about the missionary we're talking about online, they leave the app. Then when they come back, they no longer get signals.
What would be great is if you would utilize local Push Notifications for the Bible App. That way, if the app was in the background, signals would still get pushed and users could jump right back into the Bible app without missing a beat.
