Is this a bug? I get tired to read some books when two column disappear and only one column in the text (too long lines). After switching few pages forward and then backward sometimes it turns to be normal.

The issue of multiple columns moving to fewer columns is almost always a resource specific issue and happens in L4 under the right (or wrong!) conditions. Most often it is due to a long header, but there are other causes, including hidden characters. I would ask you to give me a specific example, but it would need to be a more common one... I don't own that resource.
how come the same header appears under two column and sometimes under one... And the following 15 pages under one column as well. Only when i flip a chapter forward I see two columns, and when i move back to my previous place where I had one column I get two....
I think this phenomena is generally referred to as 'a bug'; the intricacies of which we are not privy to. Alabama has explained the root cause. Why it persists has yet to be explained but no doubt somebody will eventually 'file a report for this' and it will go unmentioned for a couple of years till fgh resurrects it.
