Hi, I am looking to replace our current presentation system which is simply power point, with something more dynamic and powerful why would I choose proclaim over say Media Shout or Pro Presenter?
Without trying to cause any argument I will just say that in my experience ProPresenter is hands-down the best. I encourage you to try it for yourself.

The advantages of Proclaim are easy group planning and the ability to broadcast cues during the service to people with properly enabled devises. The interface is a bit limited and aimed at a church with few people good at using software.
We have used SongShow Plus for years, MeadiShout and ProPresenter are also good programs.
I think you could draw up a list of some features you'd like to have and download demo copies of each to evaluate. I recently did that before we decided to stay with SSP and upgrade.
I have not used ProPresenter, but have used EasyWorship and MediaShout and they are both far better than Proclaim, and are easy to use. Even for someone who does not know a lot about computers. I believe Proclaim has some great ideas but is really not ready to be out of beta testing yet. if they can iron out some serious problems that were overlooked, they may have a viable program.
You also have to weigh the cost issue. If I had used Proclaim as long as I have used my current software, It would have cost me over $1500.00 so far. That is twice what I would have paid including all updates for what I am using now.
