while I am using LOGOS, it will "freeze up" for long periods of time then operate "normally" for only a few seconds. This does not affect other programs that are run at the same time.

Hi John,
your log shows L4 only being open for 4 minutes and much of that time L4 was syncing with the cloud to check the status of your document. This is normal for L4 and it will be unresponsive when first opening and syncing.
Perhaps this log is not showing what you are experiencing.
Do you have a large number of panels open in L4?Do you have a lot of Visual Filters turned On?These can slow down L4's response time (see this wiki page: Speeding up Logos 4 responses )
If this is not the case you might need to get a longer log file and describe what you are doing in L4 just before each delay here in the post. Or someone else with more experience may be able to help you.
When does it freeze up? The log covers a very short period of time ~3 min. I see you opened your KJV from the command prompt to John 15. You then opened the MacArthur Study Bible. Did the freeze happen as you were typing in "MacArthur"? or while it was loading the resources?
How long is a long time? How often does it freeze up? What are you doing when it freezes up? Can you reproduce it by following the same steps? Does it only happen in Logos or do you see it while using other applications?
Sorry to ask so many questions, but Logos will likely need as much detail as you can provide.
