Heaven and Afterlife
I don't think the links to the Bible verses are set up right. When I am in the Bible in Logos and click the cited by icon, it links to the footnotes of the book where the references are, not to the actual text.

Hi Josh! My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Could you provide a couple of locations you have found this problem? I haven't been able to replicate the problem you are experiencing. Thanks!

Paul said, “We must all appear before the judgment seat [Greek: bema] of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”2 He shed more light on this in an earlier letter:
If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.3
The word bema is used in contemporary Greek culture to refer to the stage area in a synagogue or church. This is the place occupied by a pastor and a choir in a Christian church. But in Bible times, the term referred to a “judgment seat”4; in simplest terms, it was a raised platform, occupied by a ruler, from which decisions, sentences, or punishments were announced. Influenced by Greek athletic contests, Paul used bema in a different fashion: he viewed it more like a judge’s place at the end of an event, rewarding the athletes for their levels of accomplishment. Highlighting this theme, he wrote:
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.5
