Using Original Language Tools On Ipad
Just got an Ipad and was excited to use Logos on it. I have an older macbook so it is nice to have a smooth working fast L4 for the first time! I am fine that it lacks most of the features, but was wondering about a few (it is a free App).
I like being able to sync two panes together like in L4, but is there a way to sync and greek lexicons with words from the NA27? Having to tap a word and then click look up and then have it be in an anonymous lexicon is not super helpful. Is there a way I can Link BDAG to my NA27 so that I can automatically look up words across the screen? If not has anyone found any helpful lexicons for reading the Greek NT alongside a Greek Grammar?
Thanks for your insight, if anyone has experience in this please let me know.

There is not a good way right now. It is really the only drawback to the iOS app right now. (Other than HALOT not being available in the app like it is in the competitor's app). I love Logos and the iOS app but this is such a huge thing to not have working well.

If you own BDAG and it is prioritized in your desktop library, it should show up in the Bible Word Study as a link to the word you were looking up. I would be nice to be able to have NA27 and BDAG side by side and go directly across the screen."For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power" Wiki Table of Contents

Hi Jerry,
Just a quick note - library resource prioritization is not yet synced to mobile devices.

Welcome to the forums Garrell!

Can you be more specific? There were several "features" discussed in this thread. Generally speaking, however, Logos doesn't announce when future features may become available. What are you wanting to do?0 -

No you cannot. You do a long hold down and then select Look Up, then choose Bible Word Study, then select the BDAG. No direct way to go from Greek text to the BDAG (yet).

This is a feature that would be great to have - to open the preferred lexicon (BDAG/HALOT) in the adjacent window to the Greek/Hebrew bible on the iPad

Chad,
I have HALOT resident on my iPad Mini, but clicking through "Bible Word Study" requires me to be connected to the Cloud.
