Slide Background Transparency Adjusting?

One of the best things with Powerpoint is the ability to adjust the transparency of slides so the words stand out more.  Does proclaim allow you to adjust the slide background transparencies?

    Unfortunately, no.  You can't adjust the transparency of the backgrounds.  Sorry!  Proclaim is still evolving, if you will.  Hopefully they'll give us some really nice tools for editing in the future, but as for now, you'll have to edit your backgrounds in an external program before importing them into Proclaim.

    We have done just what Josh suggests.  We created a number of backgrounds from different sources and saved them as jpg files.  Then in Proclaim, we've created "presentations" with multiple different backgrounds (add item/content/background/file...) and named each slide/background with a unique name.  When we want to use a background, we simply find one of our background presentations or search by name in the add item.  It's not ideal, but it's not a bad way to go either.
