The recent update installed a shortcut to Proclaim on my desktop without asking me. That's just bad manners! I already have my shortcuts exactly where I would like them. Could the next update please ask my permission before cluttering up my desktop?
Hi Rebecca
That is strange - it has never done that for me. Why would one want an icon on the desktop for any program?
Some software does this (Acrobat Reader and iTunes are both on my List of Extreme Displeasure in this category) but nice programmers ask first. I am a Rainmeter addict and don't use the Windows desktop icons at all, so I only find out they're there when I accidentally click on an invisible icon. And since Proclaim eats up every bit of brainpower my itty bitty netbook has, that's really very annoying!

Agh - Windows - now I understand.
