Going On-Air with no external monitor / projector always goes full screen

When I do some preparation of a service at home (on an iMAC, with no external display / monitor / projector connected) I want to be able to check how the on-air behaviour will look, but as soon as I go on-air, it goes full-screen, and it is impossible to then edit / preview / control the presentation. If I then ESC it just goes off-air.
In the past when going on-air with no external devices connected, Proclaim used to create a second 'floating' window with the on-air result, but you could still have access to the Edit or Preview screens. One could then choose to go full screen or not with that second window
How is one now supposed to test a presentation in a single monitor configuration?
Thanks,
Tim

Hello Tim,
The immediate full-screen was introduced with multi-monitor support. You can navigate through the presentation using the arrow keys. On Windows, you can use alt-tab to bring the main window to the foreground to make edits and navigate, and then alt-tab the main window back behind the presentation again. On Mac, we do currently lack the ability to bring the main window to the foreground and back again, and I have filed a case for that.
However, for just navigating through your presentation as a preview, you should be able to navigate via arrow keys.

Thanks Ann. I am aware of using the arrow keys, but that doesn't really work. If, when you go on-air, you land in the pre-service loop, then you are completely stuck in the pre-service loop, and the arrow keys won't allow you to move into the service part.

Tim,
Use Command+right arrow to move you out of the Pre-Service into the Warm-Up section. It will only work when you are at the last slide in your pre-service setup.

By the way, Command-Right Arrow will also move you from item to item without going through every slide in that item in the main body of your presentation.
