Can't see Presentation from nearby Logos Bible apps

I'm trying out Proclaim for the first time, and I put together my presentation and I'm now testing it out to see if it will present. I have NOT purchased an ON AIR license, yet, because I want to make sure it works right before I purchase.

When I go ON AIR (with watermarks), it shows up on the screen and projector just fine. When I go to my iPhone and search for nearby presentations, however, nothing shows up.

Does anyone know if you have to purchase the on air license before it will show up as a nearby presentation? I can't find anything on the website that indicates this, but that's the only thing I can come up with.

You should be able to follow and see signals for your presentation, even if it does not have an On Air license.

Have you looked at this forum thread to make sure you've got all of your settings set up properly, your location is correct, and so on? http://community.logos.com/forums/t/54350.aspx

Thanks for your input, Ann. I had seen all of those suggestions on the forum post, and while they were helpful as a check point, I still was unable to see my presentation.

I finally broke down and called Logos support, and after a while they figured out my problem: I didn't have any signals in my presentation. I guess without signals, it will not tell nearby devices about your presentation at all. This makes sense, although one of the features I was hoping for was for people to be able to follow the actual presentation (slides) on their devices. Since that is NOT one of the features of proclaim, you have to have some kind of signal on one of your slides in order to have your presentation show up on nearby devices.

Once I added a Scripture reference and went On Air, the notice appeared on my iPhone immediately.
